Why we built this#
Buying a home EV charger shouldn't require a degree in electrical engineering. But most buying guides either overwhelm you with specs or push you toward whichever charger has the biggest affiliate payout. We wanted something different: a tool that actually matches you to the right charger based on your car, your panel, and how you drive.
How we pick chargers#
We research and compare chargers based on specs, owner reviews, installer feedback, and long-term reliability reports. We look at real-world charging speeds, app quality, outdoor ratings, and total cost of ownership — not just sticker price. Our recommendations are updated when products change or new options emerge.
